Vodka Plum Toddy

Ingredients

  • cup vodka
  • 1 cup liquid from tinned Black Doris plums
  • 1 cup water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 5-10 slices lemon or orange

This sweet and tangy hot toddy made with tinned plum juice, citrus and vodka is easy-as to make, and is the perfect mid-winter warmer. Serves 4

  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and stir to combine. Place over a medium-low heat and cook for 10 minutes. Pour into mugs or heat-proof glasses to serve
  2. Alternatively add all ingredients to a slow cooker and cook on low for 1-2 hours before serving in heat-proof glasses
