Traffic Light Cooler

Ingredients

ice
Midori (or any melon liqueur)
15ml lime juice
orange juice (not too pulpy)
vodka
red food colouring

Our nod to the new "Traffic Light System" is a fun, fruity, sweet, tri-colour surprise!

Note: The measurements for this drink do depend on the glassware of choice. The orange layer will always "push down" on the green layer, so be generous on the Midori pour to avoid having little to no green at the bottom once you've created this drink.

Fill a high-ball glass with ice.
Slowly pour Midori about a third of the way up the glass (keep in mind the two colours that will sit above the Midori will sink down eventually).
Add 15ml (or a good squeeze) of lime juice.
Over a downward-facing spoon and/or directly onto ice cubes, slowly pour in orange juice (about another third of the glass).
In a separate glass, mix vodka and a few drops of red food colouring.
Over a downward-facing spoon and/or directly onto ice cubes, slowly pour in vodka and red food colouring mix (to top up the glass).
