Ingredients

  • For the ginger sugar rim:
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • wedge of lemon or lime
  • For the drink:
  • 40ml Jgermeister
  • 40ml Chivas Regal 12YO Whisky
  • 1 egg white
  • juice of one lemon
  • ginger beer

This delicious winter cocktail combines the flavoursome herbs and spices of Jgermeister with warming whisky and ginger. Serves 2

  1. To make your ginger sugar rim, mix together ginger and sugar in a small bowl. Run a wedge of lemon or lime around the rim of each glass and dip them into the bowl
  2. Place Jgermeister, whisky, egg white and lemon juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously for 45 seconds
  3. Strain the drink evenly into two glasses and top with chilled ginger beer
