Ingredients

  • 3 parts whiskey
  • 2 parts lemon juice
  • 1 part sugar syrup
  • Dash of egg white (optional - but does give the drink a smooth velvety finish)
This is a beautifully balanced crowd-favourite, and the perfect drink to try if you're just dipping your toes into the world of whiskey.

A good, classic Irish whiskey cocktail may be just the thing to break the ice, if you will, on your whiskey adventures. But the first rule of whiskey drinking is really that there are no rules.
