Ingredients

  • 60ml Dubonnet
  • 30ml gin
  • ice
  • slice lemon, to garnish
The late Queen Elizabeth II reportedly loved this drink so much that she gave Dubonnet a Royal Warrant in November 2021. The 14.8% ABV French aperitif is made with a blend of fortified wine, herbs, and spices including black tea, quinine and blackcurrant  that, combined, taste very much like a slightly sweeter and gentler Campari.
  1. Into a mixing glass add Dubonnet, gin, and ice.
  2. Mix well until chilled, then strained into a small cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a slice of lemon.
