Classic Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 45m bourbon or whisky
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (we used demerera)
  • 3 dashes bitters
  • Ice cubes and orange wedges, to serve
Simple, quick, pretty and tasty. What's not to love with a classic old fashioned?
  1. Mix the sugar with a little splash of boiling water - just enough to melt the sugar.
  2. Add bourbon, bitters and ice, and stir well to combine. Garnish with a generous wedge of fresh or freeze-dried orange and serve.
