Our friends at Good George have paired with the guys at Rocket coffee to create a truly satisfying coffee infused Indian Pale Ale – a New Zealand first. Brewed and roasted in the heart of the Waikato, the golden, hoppy IPA infused with Ethiopian Biftu Gudina coffee is an adventurous brew for a coffee and brew lovers everywhere.  

Toast was lucky enough to be invited along to the Good George Roasting Meets Brewing event at Ralphs Eatery last week to have a taste. Hosted by Jesse Mulligan, the breakfast was full of humour, great coffee and even better beer. The morning kicked off with a quiz, testing our knowledge on the three main themes of the event – coffee, beer and Hamilton all while sipping away on the beautifully crafted new brew. The quiz was followed by a delicious breakfast from the kitchen at Ralph’s which paired perfectly with couple of cups of Rocket coffee. A big thank you to Good George, Rocket coffee and Ralph’s Eatery for hosting such a well thought out enjoyable event, we left very full, satisfied and ready for our day.

The coffee Indian Pale Ale is perfect for an evening pick-me-up or enjoyed alongside eggs on toast on a weekend brunch with friends. We loved it and think you will too, make sure you look out for the limited release Coffee IPA cans available at selected Liquorland stores.
