Tuatara’s latest brew has landed at Liquorland. It’s a sweet, spicy, smooth red rye – sure to keep you nice and toasty during the colder months.
Bitter beers have their place, but when the temperature plummets and the heater refuses to crank, a smooth, warming red ale is what you need to reach for.
Tuatara’s Copperhead Autumnal Red Rye combines three English hops – Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross – with a rye malt base. This keeps the beer’s bitterness muted and makes room for the complex spicy, fruity aftertaste to shine through. A lower level of hops also allows for tasty caramelised fruit flavours.
Copperhead’s appearance stays true to its name with a rich red hue and a fine white head.
Pour one of these beauties into a glass (check out our beer pouring hack here) and enjoy alongside crispy pork belly, slow cooked beef or a hearty pie.
Tuatara Copperhead Autumnal Red Rye clocks in at 4.5 per cent ABV and is available in 330ml bottles, 500ml bottles and 12 packs.
